Maps for your education and pleasure

Hare are some maps that will help you locate different locations mentioned in Journal stories. And some more that are just fascinating.

1895 Atlas, U.S., Washington state, Skagit County
(Skagit 1895)

This is just plain an amazing project by a selfless person who has spent hundreds of hours scanning and sharing maps, indexes, tables of details, etc. about rural towns in every state of the U.S. I first found Pam Rietsch on the Internet in about 1998-99. She lives in Michigan, but she has shared a research that every serious researcher will find a godsend. Please click the email button and thank her for her efforts. You can navigate back and forth between hundreds of pages.
